Baseball Flex Practices Begin

Baseball season is right around the corner. For Nicholas County High School, the season has already arrived. Players have been attending flex practices to prepare for the upcoming season. During a flex practice players condition and perform drills. The purpose of the flex practices is to get an early start and for the coaches to start evaluating players. Anyone who is interested in playing baseball for NCHS is encouraged to attend these flex practices. The final flex day before tryouts will be held after school on February 12.

NCHS baseball will officially begin their season on March 2, holding tryouts after school. 20 players are expected to be chosen for the team, however the coaches are willing to take 24. Junior Jordan McKinney explains, “This season I’m looking forward to getting to be on the field.”
