The Nicholas County Grizzlies now have a record of 7-2. On August 30, they won against Oak Hill (41-7). On September 6, they won against Shady Springs (19-13). On September 13, they lost to Wyoming East (22-18). On September 20, the Grizzlies won against Lincoln (34-7). September 27, they played Keyser and lost (63-0). On October 4, they won against Roane (47-19). They also won against Braxton (47-14) on October 11. The Grizzlies also won against Independence (48-12) on October 25, and on November 1, they beat Westside with a score of (52-0).
The Grizzlies have one more regular season game, which is against Princeton on November 8. “I think the game will go great as long as we play as a team and play how I know we can,” said Justin Hill on his opinion for the last regular season game.
Zack O’dell stated, “Well it’s sad it’s coming to an end, but I’m happy as long as we make it to playoffs.”
