The boys’ basketball team has many senior veterans, promising juniors and sophomores, and young and hopeful freshmen. Head Coach Brian Phipps of the Nicholas County High School boys’ basketball team has many plans, plays, and coaching adjustments for the upcoming season.
When asked about his expectations for the team, junior Jordan McKinney stated, “I think we will win sectionals again and make a good run and very possibly win regionals. When asked about his role and impact on the team, he stated, “I’m going to try to defend well and score us some points and pretty much play my role.” Coach Phipps added, “I am very excited for the year we can have.”
