The Nicholas County High School boys’ soccer team is coached by Brian Bane alongside Assistant Coach Tim Deal. Coach Bane says his favorite part about coaching is “watching the kids fall in love with the sport and watching them develop as athletes.”
The boys’ soccer team is a big part of fall sports at NCHS. There are eighteen players on the team. Jaymeson Cook, Isaiah Jackson Darby, Hunter Gohil, and Gavin Foster are the team captains. When asked what goal he would like to achieve, senior Captain Gavin Foster stated, “I would like to pass my soccer skills to the younger players.”
With more than twenty games per season, the team record so far is 2-7.
